Fuego 11U (2032) Earn 2nd Place at the Summer Heat NCTB

The Fuego Baseball 11U (2032) team put together a strong run at the Summer Heat NCTB, played July 26–27, 2025, finishing as runners-up after a weekend filled with explosive offense, steady pitching, and resilient play.

They opened the tournament with a 14-0 shutout over Tsunami Baseball. James G had a huge day at the plate, driving in four runs with an inside-the-park homer and a single. Vincent M and Quinton G each added two hits, while Mayson M and the bullpen combined to keep Tsunami hitless through nearly two innings. The team swiped eight bases and played error-free defense.

In game two, Fuego kept rolling with an 11-3 win against the College Park Knights. Vincent crushed a three-run inside-the-park homer to highlight a five-run third inning, while Barrett L added a solo shot in the fourth. Camden P and James G each collected three hits to lead a 15-hit attack, and Dylan M and Rocco R finished the game strong out of the bullpen.

Sunday began with an 11-2 win over Campbell Sandlot. Fuego jumped ahead early with a six-run first inning, including an inside-the-park homer from Barrett and an RBI triple from Vincent. James added a two-run homer later in the game, while Mayson struck out five over four innings. Camden, Vincent, and James each tallied two hits as the lineup stayed hot.

The championship matchup came against Frozen Rope Baseball. James opened the scoring with another inside-the-park home run, but Frozen Rope answered with back-to-back homers and a six-run second inning. Fuego tried to rally, with Dylan and James both collecting two hits, but ultimately fell 10-7 to take 2nd place.

It was a strong showing all weekend, with Fuego 11U showcasing power at the plate, speed on the bases, and tough pitching. The boys left the Summer Heat NCTB with a runner-up finish and valuable momentum heading into the rest of the season.
