The Fuego 13U team proved their resilience and championship mettle this past weekend, bringing home yet another title in the 13U Open Division at the NCTB Winter Showdown, held on March 2nd and 3rd, 2024. In a tournament filled with intense competition, Fuego overcame an early setback to claim the ultimate prize, showing grit, determination, and that signature Fuego spirit.

After a tough start with a loss in their opening game on Saturday, the Fuego boys quickly rebounded, shifting into high gear and going on a winning streak. They rattled off four consecutive victories, each one more impressive than the last. The highlight of the weekend came in the semifinal, where Fuego clinched an 8-4 win over the formidable Sierra Nevada Wolves, a team known for their strong play and deep roster.
