Fuego 10U: Second Place Finish
Our Fuego 10U squad took a second place finish in their first official travel ball tournament in the NCS Fall Classic, at the Salinas Sports Complex. We are extremely proud of the boys for showing out in their first tournament together!

In Saturday’s pool play games, they beat the Santa Cruz Waves White team 6-3, then followed that victory with a dominant win over the Gonzalez Dingers 11-4. As the number one seed going into Sunday bracket play, the team once again won in convincing fashion with a lopsided 12-6 victory over the Santa Cruz Waves Blue team. In the championship game, after battling back from a 6-2 deficit and making it a 6-5 game going into the 5th, the team ran out of gas and never pulled any closer.
Nonetheless it was an exciting first weekend of games for our little gamers.
